How to choose your Gi size
Our sizing chart gives a general reference, and our Gis are intentionally cut a bit roomier than many other brands to account for the natural shrinkage of cotton after washing.
If I’m at the lower end of a size range
If you prefer a more fitted, athletic look, sizing down is often a good choice.
If you prefer a relaxed fit, stick with the size recommended in the chart.
How much do the VOLT Gis shrink?
On average, you can expect around 5–7% shrinkage, depending on washing and drying. White Gis tend to shrink slightly more, while darker colors usually shrink a bit less.
